Happy Easter everyone!
Or…feliz Pascua! (as they say in Spain!)
We hope you are all well and enjoying the milder weather and lighter evenings. As well as being great for training, we all feel a bit brighter too with a bit of sunshine!
Talking of warmer weather…
Laura is off to visit Pete and the TriCamp Mallorca crew on Good Friday and see what they’re up to J Are you interested in a camp? Contact Pete or Laura if you have any questions about TriCamp Mallorca or Our Weekend Warrior triathlon camps in Teignmouth this summer if you decide to stay local. They’re great fun and great value. You’ll find all the info under ‘weekend warrior’ training camps on the PeteWilbyTriathlon website.
So this month in Devon we’ve got loads of events going on, from the Dawlish aquathlon to the Plymouth half marathon, as well as the Marie Cure Swimathon challenge and the Torbay ‘Donut’ Duathlon from Geopark Adventure. Which events are you participating in? Let us know! Would be great to have some comments on the Facebook page with your results, experience or even funny stories! Or if you prefer, you can email your results and we’ll post them for you J
And here’s Pete’s message from Mallorca…
“Something I have learnt to be a great thing about a triathlon training camp is that people of all walks of life, experience, ability, strength and weaknesses are brought together by a common goal.  When training for triathlon it is really important to be confident in your own ability.  Group training can be really motivational and greatly help improve with likeminded people whilst back to back session’s everyday highlights strengths and weaknesses.  The best way to get good at tri is to try at tri.  To tri with umph is to triumph. Another thing I have learnt is that two words spelt differently but sounding the same are homophones”.
Anyway, we’re wishing you a really happy Easter with a little more time for training this weekend and, of course, munching on chocolate eggs too!
Happy Triathlon-ing,
Pete and Laura x
