The First Blog from PeteWilbyTriathlon

Hello all, welcome to the new monthly PeteWilbyTriathlon blog. We would like to thankyou for being involved with us and keep you up-to-date with everything happening with PeteWilbyTriathlon.

PeteWilbyTriathlon began at the start of the year in January with one-to-one pool sessions, beginners triathlon courses, training plans and open water swim sessions. In that time, we've helped new athletes take up the sport and seasoned athletes achieve their goals. Now, we're introducing a childcare service for athletes and, soon, warm weather training abroad where athletes are invited to use all of our services.

Everyone will be kept up-to-date with all that is happening with PeteWilbyTriathlon through this blog.

This month seems to be the perfect time to start blogging PeteWilbyTriathlon after the successful introduction of triathlon into the commonwealth games. Some of us have been present at both local and international races. David Murray and Neil Castree participated in the Plymouth triathlon.  David came 17th in the 40-49 age group, 80th position overall and Neil  acheived 35th place and 8th in the 40-49 age group. Laura gained women's 2nd place in Torbay's geopark Olympic distance triathlon and we are currently writing this blog from Alpe d'Huez in France where we are training and Pete raced in the Alpe d'Huez long distance race coming 22nd overall.

So there really are a lot of exciting things going on with PeteWilbyTriathlon.  Let's make sure we all stay in touch.

Happy triathlon-ing,

Pete and Laura x
